Capon Bridge is a four-point charge including Capon Bridge, Capon Chapel, Central and North River Mills.
Our four local churches are based in the eastern part of Hampshire County, West Virginia. Each church meets on their own weekly or bi-weekly schedule, with one pastor among us, William Scott Ingleton.
We also have collective events and support our local community in various projects.

Our Team
Capon Bridge
The Capon Bridge Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was established in 1871 with services held in a local school on the Will Hutchinson property. The present-day church was built in 1884 on land donated by Mr. William Smith.
United Methodist Church
Central
Located in Loom, WV (Cooper Mountain). Central UMC was built in 1898. Our pretty red door is open for service every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

The North River Mills United Methodist Church, the second oldest church on the charge, was built in 1889 on land given by William Miller.
