Capon Bridge Community Dinner
“Wonderful time at the Capon Bridge Community Dinner! Thanks to all those who work so hard for our community!”
“Have you been to the monthly FREE Community Dinner in Capon Bridge (at the old middle school)? Full of Nourishing homemade food and conversation- everyone welcome! 5-7pm, Third Thursdays of the month.
We love to volunteer to serve and clean up. Sometimes local businesses donate the food, other times they rely on donated dishes. ”
The Capon Bridge Community dinner has been going on for years now. It started before Covid, paused for a bit, but then resumed in 2023.
It's a special and unique time for people to gather together once a month and connect.
If you would like to participate in serving, setting up, or clean-up, contact Terry Bailes (304-496-7359) or Marcia Lynn Hall (802-598-5639). All are welcome!
“We had such a good time at the Capon Bridge Community Dinner last Thursday night! The library set up at the entrance and welcomed everyone, while providing free books, answering questions, and info on what all the library does for the community and how the library was started. We want to thank everyone for talking with us and making donations to the library. There were 230+ people there for the dinner that night…I call that a success! Thank you to everyone who helps with this awesome community gathering!! If we all work together, we can have an amazing community that everyone wants to be a part of. 🤗 Oh, and Elvis was in the house, and the
Librarians got to hang out with him and I’m sure there is a picture of that floating around somewhere...”
